David struggles with office conversations in Chinese. He accidentally agrees to something he doesn’t understand during a meeting, then asks Li Wei for help learning key workplace phrases to improve his communication.
David joins his Chinese colleagues for lunch. He learns about sharing dishes, proper chopstick etiquette, and the social rules of group dining. Li Wei helps him navigate the experience while Zhang Tao observes his adaptation.
David must present his marketing plan to strict department head Zhang Tao. He practices Chinese business vocabulary with Li Wei, feels nervous but ultimately succeeds by focusing on preparation and clear communication.

A magical stone on Flower-Fruit Mountain cracks open, releasing a stone monkey. He discovers the Water Curtain Cave, becomes king of the monkeys, and earns the name Sun Wukong. The story highlights his adventurous spirit and natural leadership.
Sun Wukong, now king of the monkeys, seeks a powerful weapon. He acquires the magical Ruyi Jingu Bang from the Dragon King, defies heavenly authority, eats the Peaches of Immortality, and is finally subdued by Buddha and trapped under Five Elements Mountain.
Tang Sanzang accepts the emperor’s mission to fetch Buddhist scriptures. On his journey, he frees Sun Wukong from under a mountain. Despite Wukong’s wild nature, he becomes Sanzang’s first disciple, promising to protect him.
Tang Sanzang and Sun Wukong arrive at Gao Village, where a pig demon has kidnapped a young woman. Wukong transforms into the woman and tricks Zhu Bajie. After a fierce battle, Wukong subdues him, and Zhu Bajie agrees to join the pilgrimage to the West.
The travelers reach the treacherous Flowing Sands River. A fierce river demon attacks them. After a battle, they discover he is the cursed Sha Wujing. Tang Sanzang helps him, and he joins the pilgrimage, completing the team.
The White Bone Demon disguises herself three times to try to eat Tang Sanzang. Sun Wukong sees through her illusions each time, but Sanzang misunderstands and punishes Wukong, creating conflict within the team.
The pilgrims encounter the Flaming Mountains blocking their path. Sun Wukong must borrow Princess Iron Fan’s magical Banana Leaf Fan to extinguish the fire, facing her anger over the Red Boy incident.
The pilgrims seek shelter at a temple that turns out to be a spider demon lair. They are trapped in magical webs, but Sun Wukong uses his powers and teamwork to save everyone and defeat the demons.
After countless trials, the pilgrimage finally arrives at Leiyin Temple. They meet Buddha, who tests their sincerity before granting the true scriptures. The journey concludes with profound lessons about perseverance and enlightenment.
The pilgrims finally return to Chang’an after 14 years. They present the scriptures to Emperor Taizong. Each disciple receives a heavenly title and achieves enlightenment, concluding their epic journey.
