First Time Through Security
Zhang Wei and Li Na are waiting in line for security. Zhang Wei is flying for the first time, so he is a little nervous. Li Na tells him he needs to put his luggage in the tray. Then, all passengers must take off their jackets and take out their computers and phones. Zhang Wei sees the passenger in front doing this, so he follows along.
Zhang Wei puts his backpack and carry-on luggage into the security tray. He remembers to take off his jacket and also takes out his laptop. Li Na reminds him to check if there is anything in his pockets. Zhang Wei says there is only his plane ticket and passport in his pockets. Then, he prepares to walk through the security gate.
However, Zhang Wei suddenly remembers there is a bottle of water in his backpack. Just as he is about to open his backpack to get the water, Li Na says to him, “Don’t worry, it’s still time to take it out now.” Zhang Wei quickly takes out the water bottle and places it on the tray. Security staff Mr. Chen sees this and nods at them.
Finally, Zhang Wei passes through the security gate smoothly. He retrieves his luggage, jacket, and computer. Li Na is already waiting there for him. Zhang Wei is very happy because his friend helped him. Now, they are going to the gate to wait for their flight. Zhang Wei confirms his seat is by the window.
